2021 Winter Recruit Class Orientation
The Volunteer Life Saving Corps is looking for quality individuals with a strong aquatic background (swimming, surfing, etc.) and a willingness to serve the community to join the ranks of the Volunteer Life Saving Corps.
Minimum Requirements to join the Recruit Class:
- Swim 550 yards in under 10 minutes
- Run .5 miles in the sand in under 4 minutes
- Be able to maintain consistent physical stamina for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work every Sunday and National Holiday for at least the two years and then every other Sunday and National Holiday following, but required to volunteer when advised.
