Summer Recruit Class 2023

The Summer Recruit Class for the Volunteer Life Saving Corps starts Sunday, July 2nd, 2023 at 9am. Come dressed for the classroom but be prepared to run and swim.

Requirements:
Swim 550m continuously (time must be under 9 minutes by the end of the 11 week course)
Run 0.5 mile continuously (time must be under 4 minutes by the end of the 11 week course)

All other training will be provided for free. Upon finishing the class, participants will have CPR and EMR certification and a thorough understanding of ocean front lifesaving operations.
